Jamshedpur: A debate on International Women�s Day was organized at Vinay IAS Academy, Sakchi branch, on Thursday. Many students participated in the event. One of the participants, Shilpi Kumari said every individual should take a pledge on Women�s Day to respect women. Many other participants spoke on the role of women in the modern world and the challenges before them. Similar events were held at other branches of Vinay IAS Academy today.
Also present on the occasion, the director of the institute, Vinay Singh said women�s should be accorded due respect which would encourage gender equality in the country.
Among those present on the occasion included Deepnisha, Alka, Ekta, Seema, Sandhya, Purnima, Benuka, Sunita and Simpy.
