Jamshedpur, March 8: A delegation of Marwari Yuva Manch steel city branch’s women’s wing, Surabhi, felicitated 17 women police personnel including Sakchi Police Station Sub Inspector Renuka Kisku, Assistant Sub Inspector Kamta Oraon and Sakchi Mahila Police Station in-charge Pooja Kumari and 13 women auto drivers on the occasion of International Women’s Day on Tuesday, March 8. The Surabhi members also honoured women autorickshaw drivers. The Surabhi team presented roses and food packets as gifts to these women in acknowledgement of their services to society. Surabhi Branch President Manisha Sanghi and Secretary Kavita Agarwal stated that honouring women who discharge their duties with dedication while holding their head aloft, would motivate them and inspire others to follow suit. “No woman is incapable to work in any field with respect and dignity. We salute such women who inspire society,” they said. Usha Chaudhary, Jyoti Agarwal, Ruchi Bansal, Pinky Kedia and other Surabhi members participated in the programme.
