Ranchi: Women of Ranchi had taken out rallies today on the eve of International Women�s Day to be observed on March 8.
Several programmes would be organized across the State on the occasion to lend voice to women�s rights.
In today�s rallies the women organizations have demanded for a change in outlook towards women, and action against rape and dowry and domestic atrocities on women.
The organizations also insisted that the State Government should executive welfare programmes for dignity and well-being of women.
The participants also demanded better infrastructure in villages for education to girls.
