Noamundi, Feb. 8: A self help group comprising women launched a cleanliness drive in the East panchayat of Nanak Nagar in Gua on Wednesday.
They were led by Anjali Naik. A large number of women took part in the event.
The president of the group said that everyone needs to keep their locality clean and it should be made a habit in our life to devote at least two hours every day to cleaning job in order to lead a healthy life.
Among others present on the occasion included ward member Jyoti Das Williams Mahapatra, Somwari Devi, Anita Chaudhary, Malti Devi, Rina Das, Kamala Das, Fulmni Gope, Sunita Das, Guruwari Devi and Enni Devi.
