Women demand closure of liquor outlets

Seraikela, August 1: Women across the district have taken to streets against drug addiction and have been demanding action against the sellers.

Taking the fight forward on Friday several women at Kuli Village under Sadar Police Station took out a rally and protested infront of Sadar Police Station demanding strict action and to stop selling of illict liquor in the area and to shut the shops.

It may be noted that illict liquor business in the Seraikela-Kharsawan district is growing where men spend their maximum amount of earning in liquor. Youths of the area are also getting addicted to it.
