Jamshedpur, April 13: For the first time women priest carried out the funeral process of 78 year-old women Dhanvanti Devi at Subarnarekha burning ghat on Monday.
The funeral of the deceased was held by Anandmarg Pracharak Sangh. Avdhutika Anand Lokatita Acharya carried out the process in the presence of several members of the Sangh.
At the funeral Acharya Navruna Nand Avdhut, Acharya Sukhdevanand Avdhut, Acharya Chandradev and others were present. Shrad will be held at Mahani Complex, Club House in Kadma on April 16.
