Jamshedpur: A 25 year-old girl, identified as Raimuni Hansda, reportedly ended her life after consuming pesticide in Neemdiha village of Lodhasholi panchayat in Chakulia block on Monday.
Sources said the girl went out of her house today and drank the pesticide in a farm. She soon started convulsing and vomiting. She was taken to the local primary health centre and later referred to a hospital in Jhargram where she died during treatment, sources said.
Police said the cause of suicide is not known. They suspect family dispute to be the main reason leading to the incident.
