Jamshedpur, May 24: A woman from Khwaja Colony under Golmuri police station has filed a complaint alleging assault and molestation by a person on the evening of May 23 around 6:30 PM. According to the complainant, the accused, identified as Zafar Abbas, whose address is currently unknown, entered her home, assaulted her husband during a heated altercation, and seriously injured him. When she tried to intervene, the accused allegedly molested her and tore her clothes.
Following the complaint, Golmuri police registered a case and have begun investigating the matter by recording the woman’s statement. Efforts are underway to trace and arrest the accused.
