Will not accept amendments in CNT/SPT act: Congress

Jamshedpur, November 15: East Singhbhum district congress committee on Tuesday organised sankalp jan sabha programme at Jalla college ground in Patamda against Raghubar government’s proposed amendment in CNT/SPT act.

The event started with garlanding the portrait of Birsa Munda. Addressing the gathering, Sukhdev Bhagat, state Congress President, said today Jharkhand along with the whole country is suffering. Jharkhand government wants to seize the peoples land by amending the CNT/SPT act.

Congress will never allow this to happen and on November 17 will gherao the assembly and the party has already made preparations for the same. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is harassing the common people from every point. No law can be implemented without planning as common people are the one who suffers.

People are suffering to withdraw money from banks and ATMs but the government only knows to say and doesn’t listen. Raghubar government is misleading the people of Jamshedpur on 86 busti issue and the state government has filled in every front.

Former union minister Subodh Kant Sahay said, the people will teach a lesson to this government in coming elections. At the event district President Bijay Khan, Former minister Dulal bhuiyan, Ramashray Prasad, Ashok Choudhary, Anand Bihari Dubey and others were present. Around 200 people join the congress party.
