Will meet basic needs of workers: UCIL’s Rohit Kumar

Jamshedpur, April 29: On taking over charge as the new Mines Manager of UCIL’s Bagjata Mines, Rohit Kumar was felicitated during a function organized in his honour in the mines’ premises. Leaders of the Displaced Persons’ Core Committee urged the new Mines Manager that jobs like completing the work of the pending Vertical Shaft that would create employment generation. They also stated that moves to generate job avenues for the youth of the area by skilling them for work related to Blaster, Mechanical, Electrical, Mining Mate, ST, MT, Boomers at the Vocational Training Center in Bagjata. Karan Murmu, Chairman of Displaced Core Committee, Vice President Mangal Hansda, Secretary Dasson Mardi and Hari Pada Bhakt honored the new Mines Manager by presenting a bouquet.

The new Mines Manager, Rohit Kumar assured that would take all possible steps to fulfill the basic needs of workers in every possible manner. Six village heads including Sona Ram Soren (Bagjata), Mansingh Soren, Jagannath Hansda, Thakura Hansda and others participated in the program.
