Jamshedpur, Nov 24: State labour minister Chandrashekhar Dubey alias Dadai Dubey today said that his party will not let BJP open its account in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

He said that the Congress Party is determined to bounce back in the State and has mobilized its workers.

The leader said BJP will not be allowed to play communal card to polarize votes in its favour although party’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is known for communal politics.

He said the state unit of the Congress party is working well under the incumbent president Sukhdeo Bhagat and the party with a united force will prevent the BJP from winning any of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

When asked about the performance of the Hemant Soren government vis-ŕ-vis implementation of the development projects, Dubey, who holds labour portfolio, said the Chief Ministers himself holds 25 important portfolios and therefore this question should be asked to him.

The minister, who visited Tata Steel plant to inspect LD II gas holder explosion site, said inadequate safety measures could be the reason behind several injuries in the incident.

“Comprehensive inquiry will alone conclude specific cause behind the incident but in several of past industrial accidents it has been found that lack of safety measures is the prime reason behind high number of casualties,” said Dueby.
