Jamshedpur, October 18: A truck hit a bike-riding couple near Basant Cinema under Sakchi police station on Wednesday evening.
In this accident, Mithilesh Gupta, resident of Burmamines Carriage Colony, narrowly escaped, while his wife got injured in her hand. She has been sent to MGM Hospital for treatment. The police reached the spot and caught the driver of the truck and took him to the police station.
In the incident, the bike came under the truck and was completely damaged, due to which anger was seen among the people.
The place where the accident took place is a no entry zone. Now the question arises how did the truck enter the no entry zone. Some people were seen blaming the police. Eyewitnesses said that the truck driver was running away after the incident and was chased and caught. Even the helper was not present in the truck.
