White tiger Kailash soon to be shown to public

Jamshedpur: Kailash, the white tiger brought from Sri Venkateshwara Zoological Park, Tirupati would be released from its quarantine ward for display to zoo visitors from tomorrow.

Kailash, son of Randheer and Haseena (Bengal tigers) was made available by Tirupati zoo under an exchange of animals programme approved by the Central Zoo Authority.

Kailash along with four porcupines, six star tortoise and a pair of jungle fowl arrived in Jamshedpur Zoo on 2 Marchh, 2014.

Since their arrival all were put under quarantine. All the Porcupines have already been put on display for zoo visitors.

Star tortoise and Jungle fowl would also be soon put on exhibit after their mandatory health checkup is completed by the zoo veterinary team.
