Ranchi : It has been raining in many parts of Jharkhand for the past few days as the southwest monsoon has become active in the state again. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather pattern in the state will remain the same for the next two days. It is raining in many parts of the state and the weather will be cloudy in almost all areas of Jharkhand. There may be heavy rain with thundershowers and lightning in some areas.
Several parts of the state, including the capital Ranchi, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Bokaro, Giridih, Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Pakur, Sahibganj districts are likely to experience heavy rain today and tomorrow. The weather office has issued a yellow alert for these areas.
The IMD has made it clear that there will be no significant change in the weather in the state for the next two days. The minimum and maximum temperatures in Ranchi are likely to be 23°C and 27°C respectively. The weather office has forecast heavy rain with thundershowers in Jamshedpur, Chaibasa and Seraikela areas.
A slight drop in temperature has been recorded in Palamu, Garhwa and Latehar areas. The IMD said that in the last 24 hours, Lohardaga has received maximum rainfall of 86.4 mm. The maximum temperature was 31°C was recorded in Jamshedpur. There is every possibility of rain in many parts of Jharkhand for the next 24 hours.
