Chaibasa, Aug. 6: West Singhbhum deputy commissioner Dr Shantanu Kumar Agrahori chaired two consecutive meetings related to education department and district tribal advisory committee at his office here on Saturday.
Agrahori took the stock of the Adhar card, bank account, and cleanliness drive and quality education. The DC found that Adhar registration of 96 percent students is completed while 93 percent studentsí Adhar cards were verified and 93 percent students have opened their bank accounts.
He also directed to the DSE to focus on mathematics, science and English in upper primary education and also focus on mathematics and English education in Primary Education. DC also asked to make evaluation of one model school from every block of the district. Agrahori added that after evaluation of the standard of the school they can asses that whether the students hold the standard of education according to their classes.
The DC o further asked the officials of education department to take regularly motivation classes to the students of Classes 1 to 5 for cleanliness drive. On the other hand, while reviewing the Tribal Advisory Committee meet, DC was informed about the scholarship distribution.
DC also asked them to demand allotment for those who were left out. He directed the committee to give treatment benefit for ten thousands those who have yearly income of Rs. 72,000. Atrocities relief fund is given from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 2 lakh. DC asked the authorities to submit list of such victims.
Agrahori also asked the authorities to distribute solar lantern among the students of Tribal Ekalavya Vidyalaya and forest area residential school. The poor are provided 25 KG rice under PTG Chief Ministerís Food Security Scheme. Sabar Tribal of Chakradharpur should be verified that how many of them are matriculate.
The government should be asked money for Saran, Masna and Hargari for the construction of boundary wall.
Agrahori also asked them to place proposal for opening arrow shoot centers in Chaibasa. TAC member J B Tubid, Singhbhum MP, trainee IAS Naman Kumar Lakra, DSE, DEO and ADPO were present in the meeting.
