Chaibasa, Dec. 17: Kolhan Commissioner Arun Kumar and West Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Abu Bacquer Siddique jointly inspected the panchayat poll counting center at Rassel high school in Jagganathpur on Thursday.
They took the stock of situation and arrangements made in place for counting at the school. Commissioner said that the counting of votes will start at 8 am on 19th December and will continue until 8 pm under the supervision of returning officer.
The election counting officials have been directed to join at 5 am and the identity card will be issued on the same day. For the vote counting officers lodging and food arrangements will be made at the counting centres.
Commissioner further informed that the force will be deployed at the place of counting, main gate and strong room where candidates and counting agent will be allowed entry. On the occasion SDO Istiyak Ahmed, Noamundi BDO Amren Dang, CO Ravi Kishore Ram were present.
