Ranchi, Aug. 9: Secretary to the CM Sunil Kumar Barnwal listened to 10 complaints in the weekly review of Mukhya Mantri Jan Samvad and asked officers to fix their responsibility.
Rebuking the nodal officers of Hazaribag, Chatra and East Singhbhoom for their lagging behind in complaint disposal, the Secretary directed them to dispose all complaints pending with their respective districts and send the report in a week.
Regarding issuing pension in Pakur district, the Secretary said that officers should fix their responsibilities and show sensitivity with people�s problems.
People will not run from pillar to post of two departments. He also charged the concerned nodal officers regarding not issuing pension to the wife of ex- havildar late Mohammad Ishaak of East Singhbhum.
Regarding fake withdrawal of funds by showing presence of workers from MGNREGA scheme number 242/210-11, Mr. Barnwal directed the nodal officer to probe the complaint in details and submit the report.
Taking cognizance on a complaint regarding illegal opening of a line hotel on govt. land at a little distance away from upgraded primary girls school in Dumka, Mr. Barnwal directed to remove the encroachment within 15 days and take action on the wrong doers.
Mr. Barnwal also asked to probe the complaints of irregularity in connection with Chedra Girls Govt.
School ( Vishnugarh, Hazaribag) where names of fake students have been enrolled in the attendance register despite the school being situated a few steps away from B.E.O. office.
He further added that if the complaint is found right, the B.E.O. should be suspended.
