Jamshedpur: Members of Shikshit Berojgar Mangla Haat Dukandar Sangh launched a cleanliness drive at Swarnarekha Ghat in Mango on Thursday.
The drive will continue for three days. All vendors of the weekly markets participated in the drive. Members of different communities joined hands to keep the Chhath venue clean.
The outfit general secretary Vinod Kumar said the vendors prayed to God that all people get prosperity and good conscience.
He said the problems being faced by weekly market vendors should be solved soon so that the future of their families remains secure.
