Jamshedpur: Marwari Yuva Manch Steel City Surabhi unit will organize a week long Srimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagna from Sunday, April 28 at Agrasen Bhawan in Sakchi. On April 28, a Kalash Yatra from Thakurbari Road temple will start at 7:30 am and culminate at the Katha platform in Agrasen Bhawan.
Acharya Rajendra Maharaj from Virndawan will recite from the Srimad Bhagwat daily between 3:30 pm and 7 pm.
The information was provided by Surabhi branch president Parul Chetani and secretary Nisha Singhal vide a joint press release. It was mentioned therein that in the course of the Bhagwat Katha the chapters on Rukmani Vivaha and Nand Utsav would include festive celebrations. Five hosts will oversee the religious proceedings each day.
The Surabhi organizing committee for the seven day Bhagwat Katha comprises Manisha Sanghi, Sangita Modi, Sushila Agrawal and Pinki Chhavchharia.
