Weather dept issues cyclone alert for Deepawali in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Oct 21: Weather department has predicted a cyclonic formation in the Bay of Bengal from 22^nd October to 25^th October. As per the alert, low pressure formation on North-South Sea and south eastern part of Bay of Bengal on Friday may lead to a change in weather in Jharkhand. The cyclone may move towards northwest direction and progress towards middle eastern and south eastern part of the Bay of Bengal. A deep depression would be formed over the Bay of Bengal on 23^rd October. The cyclone would gradually move towards Bangladesh on 25^th October, sources said.

Dhanteras would be celebrated this year on 22^nd and 23^rd October and Deepawali would fall on 24^th October. Cyclone may affect the celebrations during this period and the temperature may also fall to some extent, sources said.
