Jamshedpur: The residents of Burmamines near Tatanagar foundry are a harassed lot these days.
The cause of trouble for them is the waterlogging in their locality following the construction of a drain, alleged Manjit Mishra,l president of Burmamines uit of Satyagraha, a local NGO.
Mishra led a delegation of outfit members during a meeting with the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Dr Amitabh Kaushal on Thursday. A memorandum was handed to the DC.
The outfit members demanded that the district administration should take measures to provide relief to the people from the waterlogging problem.
