Jamshedpur, June 13: Acting on complaints regarding contaminated water supply in the Mango Municipal Corporation area, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar conducted an inspection of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) on Friday. He was accompanied by the MLA representative, Assistant Municipal Commissioner, and engineers including the AE and JE of the corporation.
During the visit, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar thoroughly inspected various sections of the WTP, focusing on cleanliness, chlorine and bleaching levels, the stock register, worker deployment, and lab test results for chlorine concentration in the treated water.
He issued strict instructions to address the issue promptly and ensure safe, clean water supply to the public. The officials were directed to carry out necessary corrective measures based on findings during the inspection.
