Jamshedpur: Seraikela-Kharsawan district administration has planned a crackdown on loan defaulters of Adityapur and Gamharia Local Area Multi-purpose Society (LAMPS). Body warrant and attachment orders have been issued against such defaulters, said Basko Besra, LAMPS president.
Besra said in the first phase of the drive, body warrant has been issued against four loan defaulters and attachment order has been issued against 14 defaulters of Gamharia LAMPS. Body warrant has also been issued against two borrowers of Adityapur LAMPS while attachment order has been issued against 48 loan defaulters, said Besra.
Besra said loans ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh were issued to the defaulters who took no step to pay back the same despite being issued several notices and reminders.
