Jamshedpur, May 3: The series of felicitations for newly appointed President of Tata Motors Workers Union, Shashi Bhushan Prasad, continues. On Saturday, a special welcome ceremony was organized at the Engine Division of Tata Motors.
The event was graced by President Shashi Bhushan Prasad along with General Secretary R.K. Singh, H.S. Saini and B.K. Sharma. Several union officials, committee members and members of the R.K. Singh Fans Club were also present.
Addressing the gathering, R.K. Singh praised the appointment, stating, “Shashi Bhushan Prasad is the most deserving candidate for the president’s post. He has risen from among the workers and truly understands their struggles and hardships.” He also emphasized future plans with a focus on safety, quality and productivity.
In his address, Shashi Bhushan Prasad said, “I too once worked in the Engine Division. Being considered worthy of this role is an honour and I express my gratitude to the entire union and all of you.”
The event was anchored by Chandrakant, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Uttam Guha.
