Jamshedpur: City police arrested Rajeev Mishra alias Raju, wanted in several crimes including murder by Bhagalpur police, from Shanti Niketan Apartments in Parsudih on Sunday. Bhagalpur police had announced a cash reward of Rs 50,000 for anyone giving information on Mishra. The accused was staying at the said apartment with his wife and children, police said.
Police said Mishra had fled Bhagalpur and made Jamshedpur his new place of business. Here Mishra was dealing in land. His brother was arrested in Bhagalpur recently.
According to SSP Anoop Birtharay, a team of Bhagalpur police took the accused to Bihar today. An arrest warrant was issued by the ACJM of Bhagalpur in 2015.
