Jamshedpur, Sep 28: Brahmananda Narayana Multispeciality Hospital today organized special events to mark World Heart Day 2014. A ‘Walkathon’ on the theme of ‘Be The Beat’ was held to encourage people to walk everyday for a healthy heart and a healthier life.
This was followed by the inauguration of Narayana Multispeciality Clinic at Sakchi by Jagdish Prasad, Dy. Superintendent of Police (Traffic). A Heart Screening camp will be conducted at the new clinic on Monday, 29th September as part of World Heart Day. The check-up includes ECG, BP investigations as well as consultation with the cardiac experts.
Over 2000 people came together to take part in the walkathon, which was flagged-off from Modi Park (near Keenan Stadium) and concluded at Sakchi – the venue of the new Narayana Multispeciality Clinic.
