Vulgar act with animal in Jamshedpur, accused held

Jamshedpur, Sept 10: In a bizarre incident on Saturday, a 32 year old man, Saidul Sheikh, reportedly a Bangladeshi working as a labourer was caught on CCTV camera footage in a vulgar act with a calf at Ghaghidih village under Bagbera police station. The owner of the animal, Shyam Bahadur Prasad, reported the matter in the police station stating that the calf usually grazed outside the house and the area is covered by CCTV cameras. Prasad mentioned that when he saw the CCTV footage, he became aware of the incident but by that time, the accused had escaped.

The Bagbera police swung into action immediately after the vulgar act was reported and nabbed the accused, Saidul Sheikh along with his accomplices. They are now in police custody and are being questioned. The Bagbera police are now checking the related CCTV footage.

On getting wind of the incident, several social organizations and activists, including Sandeep Singh from Mai Darbar Foundation, Kanhaiya Prasad from Eklavya Foundation, Vikas Prasad, Abhimanyu Das, Anshul Kumar, Mandal President of BJP Youth Morcha, and Anand, Deputy District President of the Kisan Morcha reached the Bagbera police station and demanded strict action against the accused.
