Ranchi: Polling took place peacefully in all the four Lok Sabha constituencies of Chatra, Palamu, Kodarma and Lohardagga on Thursday.
It started at 7 am and continued till 4 pm. Save for few sporadic incidents, polling was largely peaceful in all the four constituencies.
Youths showed enthusiasm in casting their votes. The number of women was also considerable. The average voting was 58 per cent, sources said. Palamu registered 60 per cent voting.
