Jamshedpur: A voters� awareness programme was organized at Sister Nivedita English High School in Burmamines under the Systematic Voters� Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme of Election Commission.
During the event, various events such as letter writing, debate and cultural programmes were held to spread greater awareness among children. The students were asked to discuss about elections and voting with their parents, siblings, friends and acquaintances. They were also appealed to ask voters to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
A debate was also held at Baridih High School to inform guardians about their duty to cast vote in favour of the most suitable candidate in order to strengthen the democracy.
