Jamshedpur : Bistupur-based centre of VocaBOOM, a vocabulary enrichment programme, celebrated its second annual day amidst fun. The centre has 50 students, who displayed their creativity on the occasion.
Priti Agrawal, director of the centre, noted that the teaching methodology is game based. The games are all verbal and dynamic that encourage word recall, logical sequencing, reasoning , presentation of ideas and their multi situational application. There is a challenge in each session with a running score board.
She went on to add that VocaBOOM was one of the six worldwide programmes to receive an ELT International Innovation Awards nomination by The British Council, Manchester in 2008.
This is a professional, high-quality programme which children love to attend. While the main aim is to improve a child’s vocabulary, there are many other connected aims, which get automatically achieved.
She noted considering the response from the students they have decided to start grammer classes from December 12.
