Jamshedpur : Vishal Aggarwala of Young Indians, Jamshedpur moderated the interactive session with External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar. In this one-hour session, Foreign Minister Jaishankar answered many important questions. When Vishal Aggarwala asked him about the ease of doing business for Indian entrepreneurs settled in India and the possibility of providing dual citizenship to them, Dr. Jaishankar said that there are security and economic challenges in providing dual citizenship. There are also challenges regarding which countries Indians living in should be given dual citizenship. The External Affairs Minister said, “(The provision of dual citizenship) Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) is a step to deal with the increasing demand. But the debate (on dual citizenship) is still going on.” Vishal Aggarwala wanted to know from him that if there is a provision for entrepreneurship visa in many countries, then why the Indian government is not taking the initiative to implement it. On this the Foreign Minister said that this is a good suggestion and the Ministry will consider in this direction. Apart from this, on the issue of Visa on Arrival, Vishal demanded to increase its scope, on which the Foreign Minister said that Indians working abroad will have to keep their conduct and behavior better and adopt the traditions of that country so that the country can have a good image. . Only after this can this work be taken forward.
