Gamharia : In protest against suspension of construction work of bridge at Iitagarh block on Kharkai river the villagers staged demonstration.
The demonstrators, led by BJP leader Shubendu Mahto said that around Rs 6.34 crore project the foundation stone of the bridge was laid in 2012.
The bridge was to be completed in 18 months but despite the lapse of more than two years has not been completed.
On the occasion, Devanand Mahto, Vaidyanath Mahato, Pintu Pandey, Lalbabu Mahato, Ravindra, Shankar Mahato, Jtindra Nath Mahato, Ajit Mahato, Mangal Sardar Singh, Satya Mahato, were present.
