Jadugora: The villagers of Jharia village under Bhatin panchayat of Jadugora have alleged that the toilets constructed under the Swachh Bharat Mission were built with sub-standard material.
Local Congress leader Subodh Singh Sardar said the slabs in the toilets had started breaking down barely a week after they were constructed.
He alleged that the toilets were given to the beneficiaries without foundation.
In many toilets built in the village, there was no foundation that could give strength to the building.
This could lead to mishap any day, Sardar said.
