Noamundi, March 4: Villagers foiled burglary attempt to steal dumper and crane from a crusher plant near Balaji Sponge plant, Badajamda late on Wednesday night.
According to a villager, thieves in large number arrived near the plant and after getting information around villagers arrived at the spot and gheraoed the thieves but taking advantage of darkness they fled the scene.
The villagers were led by a young man Magur, a resident of Badajmada village and the property worth several lakhs was saved.
