Jamshedpur: The villagers of Bolaidih under Gamharia block have cut thousands of trees from the forest areas.
Meanwhile forest defense committee member Guru Pramanik and Dinesh Gorai reached the site to take stalk of the situation.
They also informed the forest department officials. Gorai said villagers from the areas cut more than a half thousand trees. The villagers take Rs 50 for each tree.
