Saraikela : After a local media reported that Macon Steel Plant Limited is planning to set up plant at Saraikela and four blocks Raj Nagar, the villagers have started protesting.
On receiving information in this news the local people has begun to resist and protest continue and movement strategies are becoming polarized over the countryside.
In this context, on June 23 the villagers meeting took place under the chairmanship of Raju Singh Sardar. It was decided to organise another meeting on June 29.
Rural women and men, including meeting local intellectuals participated. On the occasion, Gurupad Mahato, former principal of the college Bholaanaath Tudu, Surendra Hembram, Nandlal Hembram, Hari Todo and Sukh Besra were present.
