VHP Jamshedpur launches ‘Dharma Raksha’ campaign at Tulsi Bhavan

Jamshedpur, Jan 12: A key meeting of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) Jamshedpur Mahanagar, under its Dharma Raksha Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan, was held at Tulsi Bhavan in Bistupur, with the participation of VHP Jharkhand State President Chandrakant Raipat.

On the occasion of his first visit to Jamshedpur, the newly appointed Jharkhand State Organising Secretary, Chitranjan, was felicitated by the district committee with a ceremonial shawl.

Addressing the gathering, Chandrakant Raipat highlighted the importance of the Dharma Raksha Nidhi, stating that the fund is aimed at strengthening service activities for the most deprived and vulnerable sections of Hindu society.

He informed that VHP is running a free residential hostel for orphaned children in Hazaribagh and similar welfare initiatives are being carried out across various districts of Jharkhand.

These efforts, he said, are focused on social upliftment and protecting cultural and religious values.

State Organising Secretary Chitranjan urged the Jamshedpur Mahanagar unit to focus strongly on cadre-building and organisational strengthening, noting that in the present times it is essential to reinforce the VHP to guide society and safeguard religious and cultural traditions.

Senior VHP leaders and workers from the state, division, district and block levels attended the meeting and contributed to the Dharma Raksha Nidhi.

Prominent among those present were Singhbhum Division Minister Arun Singh, District President Ajay Gupta, District Minister Chandrika, Bajrang Dal Mahanagar Convenor Chandan Das, and state-level leaders including Devendra Gupta, Avatar Singh Gandhi, Janardan Pandey and Savita Singh, along with a large number of dedicated workers from different towns.
