Jamshedpur, July 30: A preparation meeting of Jamshedpur Veteran Sports Club (JVSC) was held for the upcoming one-day Veterans Football Tournament on 4th September 2016.
The meeting was headed by Anil Oraon, President, JVSC at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Saturday.
One Day Veterans Football Tournament (40 years & above of age) with “Eleven A Side” will be organised on Sunday, September 4 at Tinplate Ground from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
During the meeting it was decided that teams will be taken as per registration process and each team will consist of 15 members.
Each match will be of 20 minutes (10 – 5 – 10). It will played on knock out basis. The playing members should have the following age limits; 40 to 50 years – 6 players, 51 to 55 years – 3 players and above 55 years – 2 players.
Date of Birth will be considered for; (Eligibilty). Above 40 years – Born on or before 1975, above 50 years: – Born on or before 1965, above 55 years: – Born on or before 1960.
For Team Registration per team Rs. 150/- (15 heads x 10 Rs per registration form) + per player Rs. 200/-. For Individual Registration Rs. 210/- (Rs. 10 for registration form and Rs. 200/- for Registration fee.
JVSC T- shirt will be provided to all registered players. Current JSA Players who are playing in JSA Football league 2016 are not allowed to participate.
Only Rubber Studded Shoes are allowed, football boot and bare feet players will not be allowed to play. Last date of registration of teams and registration of players is 16th August 2016.
Forms will be made available from 3rd August 2016. Last date of submitting registration forms is 16th August 2016. This year only 12 teams on first cum first basis will be entertained.
Significantly, under the banner of Jamshedpur Veteran Sports Club, different sporting events at regular intervals are conducted for Veterans Sports Person of Jamshedpur with a motto to �Be Fit and Be Happy�.
JVSC Club had already conducted Cricket in March 2016, Badminton in June 2016 and Water Polo in July 2016.
