Jamshedpur: Veteran journalist and author Ram Kumar passed away on Saturday following a massive heart attack. He breathed his last in Ranchi. He will be cremated in Jamshedpur tomorrow.
According to sources close to Kumar, the 59 year old reputed author was admitted to Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) after he complained of uneasiness and breathlessness. Kumar succumbed to an irreversible heart condition which proved fatal in no time.
Condolences poured in from various quarters following the news of Kumar�s sudden demise.
Kumar will be known for his outstanding contribution to journalism. He was associated with various newspapers, journals and publications. Of late, he was running a news portal �Khabar Khand�. He also authored several books on various issues including one on Jharkhand�s socio-economic-political landscape. He was associated with The Avenue Mail, Ispat Mail and Prabhat Khabar and had worked in Jamshedpur, Ranchi and other parts of Jharkhand.
