Vendors being forced to pay Rs 100 at Mango bus stand!

Jamshedpur: The cart owners and footpath vendors carrying on their businesses inside and outside the Mango bus stand in Bhuiyandih are being made to pay Rs 100 every day to the parking agency staff. They alleged that they are being extorted in the name of parking fee by the staff of the parking agency on a daily basis.

In this connection, a delegation of members of Jharkhand Street Vendors Union gave a petition to the East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar on Tuesday and demanded action against the parking agency. The union president Pankaj Srivastava said the parking staff were not allowing the vendors to do business without paying the said amount.

Other delegation members included Uttam Chakravarty, Mahesh Kumar, Ashok Sharma, Mahesh Kumar, Sanjay Mandal, Arvind Kumar, Dhananjay Mahato, Sanjay Dutt, Tarapad Mahato, Ravindra Kumar and Kartik Mandal.
