Vendor killed in clash near Jubilee Park

Jamshedpur, March 2: In a shocking incident, two vendors clashed with one another leading to the death of one near Jubilee Amusement Park under the Bistupur Police Station at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

The incident took place minutes after senior leadership of Tata Steel illuminated the Jubilee Park on eve of the Founder’s Day celebrations.

According to reports, a cold drink vendor named Awdhesh Kumar was beaten up by another vendor Suraj Kumar. Both vendors place their kiosks just opposite to the Amusement Park after a dispute.

Awdhesh was beaten up so severely that he succumbed to multiple head injuries sustained during the clash. According to reports, Awdhesh was suffering from epilepsy and he fell down after Suraj punched him several times in his head and stomach.

Awdesh was rushed to MGM Hospital, the doctors declared him brought dead. Bistupur Police reached the spot and arrested Suraj.

According to the other vendors in the area, Suraj didn’t beat Awdhesh with an intention to kill him but the issue turned out to be fatal.
