Vegetable seller’s daughter tops Jharkhand Arts exam, aspires to be IAS officer

Ranchi, April 30:  Zeenat Parveen, a resident of Kanke, Ranchi, has emerged as the state topper in the Jharkhand 12th Arts exam, setting an inspiring example for the entire state. Despite her family’s financial struggles, Zeenat achieved a remarkable score of 94.4%, fulfilling her dream and her father’s aspirations.

Zeenat shared that her father’s relentless efforts as a vegetable seller in the Kanke market motivated her to excel in her studies. Determined to fulfill her father’s dream of academic success, Zeenat devoted 4-5 hours to her studies daily, even foregoing sleep on some nights. She expressed gratitude for her parents’ unwavering support and encouragement, emphasizing the importance of education in breaking the cycle of poverty.

Inspired by her father’s resilience, Zeenat aims to serve the country by pursuing her dream of becoming an IAS officer through the UPSC exams. Her ambition is not only to provide a better life for her family but also to contribute to society by focusing on education and healthcare, which she believes are fundamental rights for all.

Zeenat’s dedication to her studies was evident in her disciplined approach, as she maintained distance from social media and television to stay focused on her academic goals. Her commitment to hard work, consistent revision, and rigorous preparation culminated in her outstanding achievement in the exams.
