Jamshedpur, July 27: Akhil Bhartiya Kshtriya Mahila Mahasabha (Veerangana) members on Wednesday took out a torch light rally against Swati Singh case in Uttar Pradesh and Mayawati’s abusive language against sisters and daughters.
Headed by Bharti Singh, national general secretary of Veerangana, the members took out a torch light rally from Basant Talkies to Sakchi roundabout.
The members held placards demanding early arrest of Mayawati, Satish Mishra and Nasimuddin in the Swati Singh case.
Significantly, members on Tuesday submitted a memorandum to DC addressed to Prime Minister of India.
According to the memoradum, some people are trying to degrade the women with focus on Mother, sister and daughters which has left the humanity embarrassed.
Strict action should be taken against Mayawati, Satish Mishra and Nasimuddin in the Swati Singh case so that these incidents should not take place in the future.
Present on the occasion were Seeta Singh, Rajmani Singh, Seema Singh, Indu Singh, Pallavi Deep, Sanju Singh, Vibha Singh, Ruby Singh, Dr. MS Singh Manas, Sudhir Singh, Bambhola Singh, Anil Prasad Singh, Samresh Singh, Sanjay Singh, Anil Prasad Singh, Sanjay Singh, Ashok Singh, Kamlesh Singh and others were present.
Swati Singh is wife of expelled BJP leader Dayashankar Singh who made derogatory comments against Mayawati.
