Vedic Schools to Open in Ranchi and Deoghar by March 2024

Ranchi: The Hindu Religious Trust Board is set to open Vedic schools in Ranchi and Deoghar by March 2024. The process has already been initiated, with land searches underway in Deoghar and ongoing searches planned for Ranchi. Following this, the board will write to the government, requesting the necessary land for the schools, which will be run with the assistance of Kanchi Shankarapeeth.

Board Chairman Jaishankar Pathak emphasized the need for personnel and space to fully operate the board, and efforts are being made to secure suitable space. Additionally, plans are in place to construct five new Dharamshalas in Deoghar, with work scheduled to commence from January to February. This initiative aims to create over a thousand rooms, addressing accommodation needs for the local population, especially those facing challenges related to marriage. The entire project is expected to be completed within the next two years.

Furthermore, notices have been issued for the registration of temples, including Diuri Mandir Tamad, Ratu Road Durga Temple, Sai Mandir Pundag, and Vanshidhar Temple Garhwa. The board has urged the management committees of these temples to complete the registration process promptly. In the case of non-compliance, appropriate actions will be taken.
The Pahari Temple’s donation boxes are set to be opened by the end of this month, leading to various development works at the temple. Additionally, plans include providing comprehensive arrangements for marriages at the temple, catering to the needs of those seeking low-cost wedding options.
