Jamshedpur: Vedanta Limited has issued a strong public notice asserting its legal ownership over the property and premises belonging to Incab Industries Limited, following approval of a Resolution Plan by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Kolkata Bench. The notice, prominently displayed at the site, warns the public against any form of unauthorized occupation, encroachment, or transaction related to the property.
According to the notice, Incab Industries Limited was undergoing the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC). The NCLT, Kolkata, through its order dated 3 December 2025, approved the Resolution Plan submitted by Vedanta Limited in the matter titled “Jayanta Banerjee vs Incab Industries Limited”. With this approval, all rights, title, and interest in the property now stand legally vested in accordance with the approved Resolution Plan and applicable law.

Vedanta Limited has categorically stated that any unauthorized occupation, encroachment, trespass, dealing, transaction, or claim of any nature in respect of the property is strictly prohibited. The notice further makes it clear that no individual or entity is permitted to create or register any charge, lien, lease, license, third-party right, or interest over the property without prior written authorization from Vedanta Limited, the successful resolution applicant.
The company has also issued a stern warning to the public, stating that any dealings with third parties claiming rights or authority over the property shall be considered illegal, and may invite serious civil and criminal consequences.
The move is being seen as a clear attempt by Vedanta Limited to safeguard its legally acquired assets and prevent any misinformation or unlawful transactions related to the Incab Industries premises. Sources indicated that the public notice has been issued to put an end to ambiguity regarding ownership and to caution potential buyers, tenants, or intermediaries against engaging with unauthorized parties.
For verification or further information, Vedanta Limited has advised concerned persons to contact its authorized office at Corporate Avenue, Andheri (East), Mumbai, through the official email mentioned in the notice.
The issuance of this public notice is likely to have significant implications in the region, especially for parties previously associated with Incab Industries, as Vedanta moves to assert its rights and take control of the property strictly in accordance with the law.
