Jamshedpur: The Vanvasi Kalyan Kendra, Jharkhand, organized the Jamshedpur Executive Gathering and Working Committee Reorganization at Tulsi Bhawan, Bistupur, Jamshedpur. The program began with floral tributes to Bharat Mata, Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, and Pujya Balasaheb Deshpande, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Regional Organization Minister Prafulla Akant, State President Sudan Munda, State Vice President Rajendra Kumar Jhunjhunwala, State General Secretary Dhananjay Singh, and State Organization Minister Sushil Marandi. The event commenced on an auspicious note with a melodious welcome song presented by the sisters of Saraswati Shishu/Vidya Mandir, Baharagora, which captivated everyone present.
During the session, State President Sudan Munda announced the newly reorganized Jamshedpur Metropolitan Working Committee. The State General Secretary Dhananjay Singh introduced the objectives and functioning of the Vanvasi Kalyan Kendra, while the Vice President Rajendra Kumar Jhunjhunwala presented a detailed report on the ongoing activities and achievements of the Jamshedpur Metropolitan unit. Regional Organization Minister Prafulla Akant addressed the gathering, providing detailed guidance on the inception, progress, and future plans of the Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram. He emphasized the importance of dedication, discipline, and collective effort in strengthening community service initiatives and promoting self-reliance among tribal communities.
The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including State Urban Affairs Chief Pradeep Kumar Mahato, Department Organization Minister Pramod Nath, District Organization Minister Ghanshyam Rajwar, Dr. Pushkar Bala, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, and Amitabh Senapati, along with numerous members and workers of the Jamshedpur Metropolitan area.
The newly constituted Vanvasi Kalyan Kendra Jamshedpur Metropolitan Committee was announced, with Ramesh Agarwal as Chief Patron and Niranjan Gautam and Deependra Bhatt as Patrons. The leadership team includes Rajendra Jhunjhunwala as President, Sushil Agarwal as Vice President, Lalit Singhania as Secretary, and Sanjeev Badan as Treasurer. Co-Secretaries include Vinod Kumar and Sura Biruli, while the members are Ritesh Shukla, Anand Rao, Dilip Murarka, Ramnath Singh, Dr. Poonam Sahay, Vineeta Shah, and Sudhir Lal.
In addition, the heads of various departments of the metropolis were also announced — Navneet Singh as Education Head, Vikas Singhania as Medical Head, Anil Parikh as Co-Medical Head, Naresh Mahato as Sports Head, Pratibha Rani Mishra as Women’s Head, Vijay Laxmi as Co-Women’s Head, Satnam as Youth Affairs Head, and Sushil Pandey as Service Persons Head.
