Noamundi: Van Mahotsava was celebrated at Kotgarhhiger Secondary School under Noamundi Block on Thursday.
A plantation drive was organized under the aegis of the forest Department. As part of the awareness campaign, hundreds of trees were planted at various places of Kotgarh.
Many people were present on the occasion. They included South division DFO SR Natesha, DFO Bhagvan Mishra, district forest officer KK Tiwari, Mohan Sharma and including students and teachers were those who participated in the festivals of Plant.
