Valley View students made aware of Good & Bad Touch

Jamshedpur, July 6: Valley View School in collaboration with SAFE, Tata Steel, organised a session on awareness against child abuse in young children and educated the children about �Good Touch & Bad Touch� in the school premises on Thursday. The session was conducted by Young Indians(Yi), a part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

Students of class 2 to 6 attended the session which informed them about protection from sexual abuse and awareness regarding Child Helpline number 1098.

A documentary on ‘Masoom’ was screened followed by interactive sessions by Shruti jhunjhunwala and Ms. Roshni from Young Indians.

They asked questions from the children to assess their recall and learning. Pamphlets were also distributed among the students to share with their parents.

Principal of school Alka Arvind Kumar, Vice Principal Subhendu Muzumder, counselling team and teachers were present during the session.
It may be noted Project Masoom: Young Indians Jharkhand chapter is a national project that aims to spread awareness against child sexual abuse and help keep our children safe.
