Valley View School ignites scientific temper with QUEST 2016

Jamshedpur : Valley View School hosted its inter school science festival QUEST-2016 on Friday. Dr. Mita Tarafder, principal scientist National Metallurgical Laboratory, was chief guest, who inaugurated the fest.

Eminent Scientist of NML judged the different events like Robotics, Ramp Walk, Movie Making, Talk Show etc.

Most of the schools of Jamshedpur participated in the mega event. A cultural show was organised to entertain the future scientists of the steel city. Around 400 students and 50 teachers from Jamshedpur were present in the event.

The science fest was coordinated by the vice-principal, Subhendu Mazumder, teachers Sujoy Biswas and T. Bose. QUEST 2016 came to an end with the prize distribution by the principal of Valley View School, Alka Arvind Kumar.

Events like Man Machine (Robotics), Sci- Vogue ( Scientists� Ramp walk), Filmora (Movie making), Tete-A- Tete (Talk show), Showcase (Model making), Sloganaire (Slogan writing), Placardion (Poster making), Patchpourri (Collage), Ignite (Sc. Quiz), Open Sesame (Treasure hunt) were held.
