Jamshedpur, Feb 23: A group of youths attacked Akshat Mishra, a class IX student of Valley View School, Telco, on Wednesday. The minor was seriously injured in the incident. He sustained injuries in head and other body parts. He was taken to MGM Hospital by police and family members.

Telco police have lodged an FIR against 10-16 youths on the complaint of Pankaj Mishra, father of Akshat Mishra and a BJP leader.

Several BJP leaders including Ankit Anand visited Valley View School and inquired about the incident. They demanded action against the accused persons. They alleged that the assailants are addicts who often attack students and other innocent people for fun.
